Body LaVonne “Bonnie” (Alberts) Portz, age 88, passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, and funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Haysville.

Body Betty Parry, 94, passed away Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023.  She was born August 9th, 1929 to Oval and Dorothy Downen in Alva, Oklahoma.   Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; son, Alan; great-granddaughter, Chelsie and brother, Roy.

Body Patricia Ann "Pat" Brundage of rural Argonia, Kansas, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother died at her home on Friday, November 24, 2023. Pat was born on November 27, 1936, in Wellington, Kansas, to Ray B. and Mary (Brewer) Landreth.

Body James W. Hare, 97, of Conway Springs, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Spring View Manor, Conway Springs, KS.

Body Lois Harrington, age 90, of Haysville, passed away, Friday, Nov. 17, 2023. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Haysville United Methodist Church.

Body Connie Milliken, age 77, of Clearwater, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at First Baptist Church, Clearwater. Connie was born on Friday, June 7, 1946, in Ypsilanti, Mich.

Body Kenneth C. Maechtlen, age 95, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023. He was born on Oct. 1, 1928, to Herman and Adelene Maechtlen, the third of four children. Ken’s early years were shaped by the simplicity of life on the family homestead east of Clearwater.

Body Thomas Coyne Taylor, 77, passed away October 14, 2023 in Monroe, LA. He was born on March 20, 1946 in Wichita, KS to Robert E. and Mary E. Coyne Taylor. He graduated from Cheney High School in 1964 and attended Southwestern College, Winfield, KS.

Body Eugene (Gene) Greenlee, a former mayor of Clearwater, passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Thursday, Nov. 9, with his family by his side.

Body Robert C. (Bob) Mercer, 83, of Conway Springs, passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, at Spring View Manor, Conway Springs. Bob was born Dec. 10, 1939, southwest of Conway Springs to Ralph Virgil Mercer and Mary Elsie (McGee) Mercer.
