Indians end season with losses

TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys basketball team ended its season with a pair of losses last week, falling 64-43 at Wellington last Tuesday and 57-24 to Andale last Thursday at Clearwater. The Indians end the season with a record of 1-19.

Owls win substate opener

TSnews Last Friday, the eighth-seeded Garden Plain Owls won their Class 3A substate opener 58-41 over the visiting Trojans of Southeast of Saline, seeded ninth. The Owls slowly built up a lead through the first three quarters, holding a 37-31 advantage going into the fourth quarter before closing the game on a 21-10 run.

Wichita Classical ends Cardinals’ season

TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys basketball team could not dig out of an early hole as it fell to Wichita Classical 56-44 in the opening round of Class 2A substate play last Thursday in Conway Springs. “I thought on paper it was a 50-50 game for us,” Conway Springs coach Paul Lange said.

Clearwater on skid entering postseason

Hendrickson scores 11 for Colts
