EHS Tigers corral the Mustangs to remain perfect

Body TSnews A big first half powered the Eisenhower Tigers to their fourth victory this season, a 51-28 win at the Salina Central Mustangs. Already leading 14-7 after a quarter, the Tigers scored 27 points in the second quarter and had the Mustangs broken by halftime.

A&A Titans ground Eagles at Norwich

Body TSnews With 28 first-quarter points, the Argonia-Attica Titans defeated the host Norwich Eagles football team 48-28 last Friday and moved to 3-1 this season. The Titans also got an all-important district win as they opened play in 8-Man Div.

Body TSnews The Garden Plain Owls volleyball team turned in one of its better performances last Saturday when the Owls took second at the Douglass invite, winning four of its five matches on the day.

Body TSnews Logan McKim of Garden Plain placed fourth in the boys varsity 5K race last Thursday at the Goddard Invitational at Lake Afton. Two of his Andale teammates, Jack Cutler and Sam Pavelski, placed second and third as the team beat 11 other squads.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions girls golf team got another strong performance from Sydney Chapman as the Lions took seventh at the Andale Invitational Monday at Cherry Oaks Golf Course.
