Body TSnews The visiting Hutchinson Salthawks put up 35 first-quarter points en route to a 50-0 victory over the Campus Colts last Friday on homecoming night. The Salthawks added a second-quarter touchdown, and scored a touchdown and a 2-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

Turnovers hurt Titans in loss

Body TSnews The Argonia-Attica Titans suffered their second loss of the season and first defeat since Week 1, falling 28-12 at the Central Christian Cougars in Hutchinson last Friday. Turnovers hurt, as the Titans threw two interceptions in just eight pass attempts.

Goddard Lions drop 61, cage up the Cougars

Body TSnews For the second time in three games, the Goddard Lions’ offense put up a ton of points in an important Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League game. Goddard went to Salina and beat the South Cougars 61-10 last Friday.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions boys soccer team hosted Augusta Tuesday, Oct. 8, winning 4-1.

Cross Country

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions, Eisenhower Tigers, Campus Colts, Clearwater Indians and Conway Springs all ran on Saturday at Trinity Academy’s Wild Wind Festival, a high school and middle school cross country meet.

Tigers protect record with come-from-behind win

Body TSnews It took a comeback effort on homecoming night, but the Eisenhower Tigers maintained their unblemished record with a 21-17 win against the Andover Trojans. The Tigers are 5-0 and in third place in the Class 5A West standings.
