TSnews HAYSVILLE – The Haysville City Council took the first steps toward facilitating a possible annex to the Haysville Community Library with action taken at Monday’s meeting. Library director Kenneth Bell told the council that the public has asked the city to establish a financial account, managed by the city, to collect donated funds that would be dedicated to construction of a library annex.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – The Sedgwick County Commission on Monday certified the USD 261 Haysville school bond, which voters approved on April 8. The final tally was 1,382 votes for the bond and 462 against, which is a 3-1 margin.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – It has been a busy month for the Haysville Chamber of Commerce and its members. Chamber members gathered on April 6 at the Kansas Star Casino for the annual Gold Star banquet, and followed that up with their annual monthly meeting last Thursday, held at the Haysville Community Library to celebrate National Library Week.

WELLINGTON – The public is invited to a Sumner County legislative update, planned for Saturday, April 19. The update will run 2-4 p.m.
