Emanuel C. Ast, 89, of Kingman, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1936, to Joseph Jr. and Marie (Hermes) Ast. Emanuel spent his childhood on a farm near St. Joe, Ost, and graduated from Andale High School in 1954.In 1957, he married Margaret Clasen.

Lana Brozek, 81, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a dear friend to all who knew her. She was born in 1944 in Wichita, where she grew up surrounded by family and friends. Lana met the love of her life, Ronald Brozek, and they were married on July 28, 1962.

Jack Bates, age 86, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.Visitation with family will be 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Webb Shinkle Mortuary 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater, and funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Clearwater United Methodist Church, 130 N. 1st, Clearwater.

Donald Lee Fassnacht, age 94, of Rose Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.

Deidra Ann Ward, 77 of Argonia, homemaker, retired cosmetologist and retired office manager, passed away Monday morning, Sept. 22, 2025, in Wichita. Born on Aug. 24, 1948, in Wellington, she was the daughter of the late Cleo and Vevalee (Warlow) Hamilton.

Monty A. Ward, 80 of Argonia, Sergeant with the 184th Bomb Group “Flying Jayhawks” in the Kansas Air National Guard, retired farmer passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 24, 2025, in Wichita.

Dr. Ronald L. Lamp passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, in 2004, and by both of his brothers, Ray and Ross Lamp. He is survived by two sisters, Marita (Terry) Clark of Dixon, Mo., and Lynda Lamp of Wichita.

Donna Sue Ramoz, 73, loving wife, mom, grandma and granny passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 29, 1952, in Oklahoma. She was a retired dietary aide for the Cheney Golden Age Home as well as a homemaker.

Beverly J. Kibbe, 92, of Conway Springs, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at Spring View Manor, Conway Springs.

Patricia Mae (O'Dea) Jeffery was born Jan. 3, 1941, in Moscow, Kan., to parents Martha and Dale O'Dea. Pat entered eternal life on Oct. 3, 2025.She was married to Wayne Mallernee for 19 years and had three children, Sonja, Rob and Darin.
