\Norman Dean Crossman, affectionately known to all simply as “Dean”, passed away peacefully
doing what he loved most…fishing for trout at Roaring River, Mo. Born on March 4, 1940, to Harry
Crossman, Sr., and Viola Mae Downing in Bison, Okla., Dean lived a life marked by resilience,
dedication, humor, and an unwavering lover for his family and community.

Wilbur “Bill” J. Gregory, 84, of Valley Center, passed away on June 11, 2025. He was
born on Dec. 13, 1940, in Wichita, and was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Allegra
Whitesell; his father and stepmother, Gene and Ruth Gregory; and grandparents, Wilbur
Elmer and Marcia Gregory.
Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Sylvia Gregory, and later married Eileen
Gregory, who survives him. He also was preceded by his brother, Robert Val (Ted)
Gregory; and children, Stacy and Rick.
Ellen “Tootie” Caskey, Haysville, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 19, and funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Friday, June 20, both at St.
Cecilia Catholic Church, Haysville.
Tootie was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Helen Balster, and sister, Brenda Ewing. She
is survived by her husband, John Caskey; sons, John (Kristie) Caskey of Haysville, Joseph (Miranda)
Caskey of Pittsburg, Kan., and Joshua Caskey of Haysville; sisters, Julie (Kent) Horsch of Haysville,
Lousina K. Mishler of Clearwater, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. A private family service was planned.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Denver E. and Maxine Tincknell; son, Denver L. Mishler; and brother, Delmar Tincknell.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Mishler; son, Justin (Ashley) Mishler; and grandchildren Ireland and Gabriel Mishler, who lovingly called her Grandma Lou Lou.

Our dad, John “Johnnie” Kurimsky, passed away June 9, 2025, in Wichita, at the age of 100 years, 8 months and 17 days.
He was born in a rural home just west of Clearwater, where he continued to live until March 2024. During World War II, at the age of 18, he was drafted and joined the United States Navy, serving in the Pacific stationed on Guam Island from 1943 to 1946.
He met Mary Catheryn (Katie) Schoeppel during his early childhood years attending Clearwater schools and they were married shortly after his return from service in May 1946.
Donna Ruth Ryan passed away on May 23, 2025 in Oakley, Kan., at the age of 93.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers, husband Douglas, and sons, William D. Ryan and David E. Ryan.
Donald F. Neises, age 87, passed away on Saturday May 31, 2025.
He was a Farmer, 4th Degree/Grand Knight with Clonmel and Schulte 3114 council, and gave 35 years of service to Cessna as a sheet metal worker, and he also worked in construction.

Louie Franklin “Leon” Jennings, age 90, of Haysville, passed away at home on Monday, May 12, 2025.
He was born in Opelika, Ala., to William Louie Jennings and Geneva (Jarrell) Jennings. He moved to Wichita in 1952, and married Jeanette Hendershot in 1954. They had two sons, Terry Leon and Trenneth Jennings.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Cleta Marie (Glenn) Cornett, age 96, of Clearwater.
Cleta died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Oxford Grand Assisted Living and Memory Care Unit in Wichita.
Cleta was born on Nov. 25, 1928, in Delaware County, Okla., where she spent her entire childhood.
