HAYSVILLE – The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has awarded the City of Haysville the cost share grant for the South Broadway Pedestrian Pathway Project. The announcement came from Gov. Laura Kelly’s office on Nov. 28.

TSnews HAYSVILLE – To celebrate both of their retirements from Haysville USD 261, Michael and Jerri Clagg took an Alaskan cruise, where they ended up going on a little bit of a research expedition. “We had done traditional cruises before and wanted something different this time,” Michael said.

By Travis Mounts The Garden Plain Owls football team moved on in the Class 2A football playoffs with a 21-7 home win over the Halstead Dragons last Friday. The Owls did not play a perfect game, but they did more than enough to vanquish a team that has faced some of the state's top small schools.

Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an injury accident that resulted in a fatality last Sunday near Cheney Lake. The accident happened at the intersection of 21st Street North and 391st Street West.
