Tigers boys beat Ark City, fall to Derby

TSnews The Eisenhower Tigers boys basketball team hosted Arkansas City and Derby last week, beating Arkansas City 71-28 on Feb. 4, then losing to Derby, 55-43, on Feb.
The Eisenhower Tigers picked up a pair of wins in a dual with the Salina Central Mustangs. The boys won 2492-2150 and the girls won 2001-1609. The dual was held last Thursday.
Jamie Duty of Eisenhower had the only 700-plus series, bowling 747 to place first. Lewis Schneider and Nathan Cox placed third and fourth.
The Eisenhower girls swept the top three spots with Kaitlyn Newell, Faith Pelz and Jordyn Betschart at the top of the standings.
