Cox, Grim do well at State meet

Conway Springs sending several to State

Body TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys and girls track teams will be sending six athletes to this weekend’s State meet after a strong performance last Thursday at the Class 2A regional meet in Marion.

Lions send large contingent to State

Body TSnews The Clearwater Indians boys and girls track teams are sending a large contingent to the State meet after a strong performance last Thursday at the Class 4A regional at Andale.

Haines off to State for Raiders

Body The Argonia Raiders boys and girls track and field teams will be sending one athlete to State after she turned in a strong performance at last Thursday’s Class 1A regional meet in Iola. Bailey Haines finished third in the 1600 with a time of 5:51.13.

Body TSnews The Campus Colts softball team held an early lead in the Class 6A Washburn Rural regional final in Topeka last Thursday, but could not hold on in an 8-6 loss to the host Blues.
