TSnews The Campus Colts boys soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 1-0 victory at Goddard on Thursday, Sept. 4.

The Eisenhower Tigers boys soccer team opened the season Aug. 29 with a 2-0 victory at Maize. Jayden Eckerman and Truman Hinton scored the goals, assisted by Austin Flesher and Luis Alfaro, while goalkeeper Jack Loibl made six saves.

TSnews The Argonia-Attica Titans opened the season with a dominating 60-12 victory over the West Elk Patriots in Argonia on Friday night. The Titans were already in control of the game after one quarter, doubling up the Patriots 24-12.

HAYSVILLE – Davin Glasscock, a young swimmer from Haysville, is competing for the Youth Athlete of the Year, in a competition staged by Sports Illustrated, the V Foundation, 3 Brand, and the Why Not You Foundation.

TSnews The Cheney Cardinals volleyball team did not back down from a stiff challenge last Saturday when it opened the season at the intensely rugged Marysville tournament in northeast Kansas. Cheney went 1-3 at the tournament, with all three losses coming against ranked competition.

TSnews The Andale-Garden Plain girls golf team got its season off to an early start, competing at the 4A Girls State Preview last Thursday at Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson – the first area team to hit the course this season. Andale-GP took 14th in the rugged 16-team field with a score of 422.

TSnews Logan Wallace takes his basketball career seriously – so it should be no surprise he was willing to move 1,000 miles from home to enhance his chances of playing at the collegiate level and beyond.

CONWAY SPRINGS – A helmet from the Class 1A State football champion Conway Springs Cardinals will be on display at the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium throughout the 2025 college football season.

The Kansas Curve summer collegiate baseball team wrapped up a strong season last week by making it to the round of 16 at last week's SummerBall Showdown in Goddard.
