Body TSnews The Garden Plain Owls boys and girls track teams had a double dip of second-place finishes at the Central Plains League meet last Thursday in Belle Plaine.

Body TSnews The Goddard Lions boys track team turned in a strong performance at last Thursday’s Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Division II meet at Arkansas City to win the league title. The Lions won the meet with 125 points, six ahead of runner-up Newton.

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals boys and girls track teams recorded a clean sweep at last Thursday’s Central Plains League track meet at Belle Plaine as they won the team titles in both divisions.

Body Tigers’ King takes 5th in singles TSnews The Conway Springs Cardinals boys tennis team finished second as a team at the Class 3-1A State Tournament, held May 16 and 17 in Topeka. It was the team’s first State trophy since 2014, when the Cardinals won a State championship.

Body TSnews The Cheney Cardinals turned in a strong performance at Monday’s Class 3A regional boys golf tournament at Kingman to take home a regional title and punch their tickets to State.
